John Stones (the father) was buried on the Joseph Stones farm, now (1968) belonging to Delmain Early. His first wife Mary Maria Davison, was born in (1851 census)1807 in Manchester, Lancashire, England. She died 19 May 1851 in Attercliffe, England. His second wife was the daughter of Hannah Sophia Bergson. They had no children, but she raised the children of the first wife. Adela was John Stones daughter in law also.
